Thinking back to the precious time when I was pregnant trying to do my own maternity photos (above).  I love how they came out but I ended up taking about 200 blurry photos by taking them myself.  If you want to capture your progress through your pregnancy, I offer great maternity packages.  Three photo sessions including maternity, newborn, and infant so you get to look back and see how tiny and cute your little one was.  Personally, I am shocked every time I flip through photos of my son when he was that tiny.  It doesn't seem possible for him to have been so small since he's so big and tough now.  Amazing how they change in one year!

I've been working on a fun new series for maternity photos.  It's a great way to see how the belly grows over time.  Every week to three weeks take a photo in the same position.  With some post editing in Photoshop and some text, the end result is a beautiful catalog of the little one inside getting bigger.

A key tip to remember about maternity shoots, stay calm, have a good time, and enjoy the chance to document changes in your body even if you don't necessarily feel attractive.  The human body is amazing and although the changes may seem embarrassing or uncomfortable, the glow on your skin and the shape your new body takes on is really a miracle.

I am currently at 19 weeks and love every change...even the unglamorous ones.
